In her time as a student, Catherine studied under Boston Symphony member William Rounds and participated in several masterclasses, most notably with cellist Inbal Segev, cellist Yibing Chu and A Far Cry Orchestra.

Catherine has performed with various New England music groups such as The Portland Stage Theatre Company, The Raymond Arts Alliance and the Acadia Quartet. Currently she is a graduate assistant at Southern Illinois University where she is the principal cellist of the Southern Illinois Symphony Orchestra and co-director of the Southern Illinois Youth Orchestra. As a certified Suzuki teacher and proponent of mindfulness in music education Catherine seeks to provide a fun and inclusive learning space.
