Group Classes:
Mini Makers (K-2nd Grade): Students will be introduced to basic skills in a variety of media including drawing, painting, and sculpture. Projects may span more than one meeting.

Mighty Makers (3rd-5th Grade):
Students will be supported in the further development of skills in drawing, painting and sculpture. Students will be introduced to basic skills in printmaking and fiber (weaving and/or sewing). Projects may span more than one meeting.

Private Lessons:
Individualized lessons are available for students in grades 6th-12th as well as adult learners. Times to be arranged with Miss Boyt.
Lindsey Nelson
Art with
Lindsey Nelson is a local artist from Southern Illinois with over a decade of experience in the arts. While her focus is primarily in painting, she also works with chalk pastels, graphite, textiles, wood and clay. Lindsey has been involved in art shows from Carbondale to Canada with personal work, live painting, teaching and interactive art installations.
With 20 murals under her belt and her art business thriving, Lindsey is ready to take it further and share her knowledge and creativity with students of all ages! The teaching style implemented will be tailored to the specific needs of each student. Lessons will include the Principles of Art, proper usage of tools, exploration of new media, exercises in creative thinking, games and so much more!
Pricing for Private Lessons
$30.00 / 30 minutes
Private Lesson times are worked out with the instructor, and scheduled once a week and payments are made monthly. We offer private lessons in 30, 45, and 60 minute sessions.
A one-time consultation fee of $25 will be due to the first lesson/consultation.
Pricing for Group Classes
$25.00 / 60 minute Class
Mini Makers and Mighty Makers meet on alternating weeks, Tuesdays from 6:00PM-7:00PM. Payments are made monthly.
