Market Street Music Conservatory is committed to exceptional and accessible music and art training, as well as inspiring students of all ages, skill levels and backgrounds to realize their full potential for lifelong appreciation, enjoyment, and commitment to excellence in music and art. Not only do we offer excellent music and art education but also performance and enriching cultural experiences.
Our Location
Market Street Music Conservatory is located in beautiful downtown Marion, Illinois. We are just two blocks from the center of the Marion town square (#2BlocksFromTheClock).
We are located at 310 N. Market Street in Market Street Hall (formerly the First Christian Church building).

Get ready for a spook-tacular time with our Halloween Mask Making event!
On October 16th, from 4PM to 5PM at Market Street Music Conservatory, kids aged 6 to 9 can unleash their creativity and craft their very own spooky, silly, and fun masks. It's a perfect activity to get into the Halloween spirit!

Friday, October 30th, at 7:00PM. Southern Illinois Chapter of the American Guild of Organists Presents this year’s Halloween Extravaganza Concert! Come hear some fantastic musical works performed in the historical Shryock Auditorium at Southern Illinois University! The program will feature pieces played on the magnificent Webb pipe organ!

Corryne & The Equinox (Artist Series)

Adding to our artist series this fall is a special concert from Corryne & The Equinox! The Concert begins at 7:00PM at Market Street Music Conservatory.
Based in Southern Illinois, this band is dedicated to bringing you the smooth, soulful sounds of all your favorites with a special focus on bossa nova. Featuring a talented lineup of musicians, we blend jazz, Latin rhythms, and timeless melodies to create an unforgettable musical experience catered to any occasion.

Charlie Brown Christmas

Join us for a heartwarming stage adaptation of the beloved animated TV special, featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, and the gang as they discover the true meaning of Christmas. Happening on December 18th and 19th, 2026, at 6:30PM, this magical performance is perfect for the whole family. Tickets will be $15. Your ticket includes access to our cozy Hot Cocoa Bar, where you can warm up with delicious treats after the show, and participation in a special activity—making your very own Snoopy Christmas Ornament to cherish for years to come!
